Featured Project
A sun-soaked stone patio retreat framed by potager beds, corten-edged gravel paths and a copper-leaved acer.
Set within a working country garden in Tonbridge, this quiet nook was designed as a place to pause between the productive beds. A generous square of honed limestone paving floats just above the soil, holding a low teak sofa and a pair of slatted lounge chairs around a small cast iron fire bowl.
Corten steel edging draws a single clean line between the patio, the gravel path and the potager beds — a deliberately reduced palette of materials so that the planting can speak. A mature Japanese maple sits as the focal point on the horizon, its copper canopy echoed by the surrounding copper beech hedge.
