Walled Flower Garden

A romantic walled garden centred around a traditional glasshouse, with abundant cottage-style planting and crisp gravel pathways.

About the Garden

Tucked behind mature trees and brick walls, this garden was designed as a tranquil retreat for growing and gathering. A classic painted timber glasshouse anchors the composition, framed by hydrangeas, hardy geraniums, salvias and cosmos that spill over corten-edged beds.

Pale gravel pathways radiate from a central terracotta urn, drawing the eye through the garden and softening the geometry of the planting beds. Clipped box, terracotta pots and a reclaimed brick threshold add warmth and a sense of timelessness — a garden that feels both carefully composed and gently wild.
